SMC Retreats are family friendly vacations created by Tania - who is intimately familiar with what it means to be a Solo Parent by Choice. For Clarification, an SMC is someone who intentionally chose to become a parent without a co-parent.

The CaSa

Nestled in San Felipe, Oaxaca (15 minutes from Centro,) our beautiful, child friendly CaSa offers private rooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests. Your family will enjoy the utmost comfort and privacy during your stay - allowing for a truly relaxing experience.

The CaRe

Our nannies are all bilingual and all hail from Oaxaca. They are dedicated to providing exceptional care for your children. Rest easy knowing that your little ones will be having fun, crafting, dancing and playing with the nineras.

The ExCursions

You will experience the beauty and culture of Oaxaca with our private excursions. We curate memorable adventures that you are in control of. Want to leave after half an hour? No problem. Hungry - let's go eat. Want to squeeze in another stop - we can do it!

We take pride in serving locally sourced ingredients that captures the seasonality and vibrant flavors of Oaxaca. Our meals are thoughtfully prepared to cater to diverse palates - Yes, little palates too! Of course we will accommodate any allergies and special diets.
