At SoMos Retreats our nannies keep your kids engaged through crafting, swimming, ball games, reading and more. A local chocolatier comes in and teaches the children about the history of cacao while they make their own yummy treats to enjoy! We take you to Hierve el Agua (and arrive before it gets busy). All of our experiences are run by and benefit locals - from our Zapotec Massages to our Food Tours. We know the best people to give you an authentic experience are the ones who grew up here.
Small Groups, Big Memories!
Being at a Resort or booking a group travel experience often feels impersonal and disconnected. You could be anywhere in the world. You can end up somewhere that is honeymooon central or awash with so many families that there’s never a moments quiet.
At SoMos we cap the number of families at 4 and do not host more than 5 children simultaneously. This ensures that your vacation never feels too hectic. Our nanny ratio is 1 nanny to 2 children which ensures that children are kept occupied and well supervised at all times so you can kick back and relax.
Support when things don’t go according to plan.
There’s nothing worse than being away from home when your child gets a cough or just isn’t feeling great. Or maybe your flight is delayed and the line to get a taxi is 2 hours long! What if you lose your passport!?
When you book with SoMos your vacation comes with a village. We have relationships with English speaking Doctors and know exactly how to help you. We track your flight and will always make sure that a friendly face awaits you when you arrive - we even have clothes to borrow if your luggage goes astray. As for lost passports, been there done that and now we know how to help if that happens too! You’ll be added to a private WhatsApp Group during your stay and we make sure everything you need is taken care of.
