Repeat guest appreciation post.

She just came for her 4th Retreat with us (and is coming for her 5th in November!)

This is also the first photo we have of us together - I thought to take it on her last night at the restaurant we went to with her family… there’s plenty of group pics with us in but none of just the two of us - long overdue!

This time she brought her whole family and I hosted my first 16 year old (I think he’d rate it a 7/10 which I’d call a win for a teen! )

She is not yet tired of Oaxaca and keeps me on my toes as I explore new places to bring her when she visits (gnome castle anyone?)

This year 2 guests return for their 4th SoMos Retreat - and one of them (Leah) has not yet been to Oaxaca… she’s my pop up queen! She assures me that she will come and stay at the CaSa… maybe next year.

Tanya was the first person who EVER signed up with me and she’s returning for Día de Muertos (their 4th retreat!) this year.

Some families have returned for the 3rd time and I’ve had more guests that have returned for a second Retreat than I can list here!

I’m grateful for every one of you.

There is so much to love about this community that has been created… people have made life long friends on the Retreats - some coming back again with those they met on their weeks… I’ve made life long friends too!

When I say that this is a vacation that comes with a village - It’s honestly true. The village is both our amazing staff and one another - its so much more than a holiday.

I hope to meet so many more of you in the coming years… and maybe one day I’ll be able to build a Retreat Home for us from the ground up…. Crossing fingers and toes for that.
