Guelaguetza July 2026
Join us for Oaxacas second biggest festival of the year!
This festival is put on by the people, for the people and celebrates the dances, food and culture of the 8 regions of Oaxaca.
Parades, food expos and so much more awaits you this week. We know this festival is going to take off - see it before it gets as big as Dia de Muertos!

CoCo Inspired Weeks
October is the month of Muertos and in the lead up to the celebrations we host weeks with activities and excursions inspired by the Movie CoCo.
You may not know that the movie took inspiration from Dia de Muertos in Oaxaca. As such we shift our itinerary to explore these inspirations.
From a visit to the town famous for Alebrijes (spirit animals) to crafts inspired by Muertos and a treasure hunt in the Benito Juarez market - this week is for children and adults of all ages to join us in the magic of the season.
As we find out about special events we will incorporate those into the itinerary. There are always surprises!

Muertos Cool Down
For the first time ever Muertos we are doing a Muertos Cool Down instead of a warm up week.
You’ll arrive on Saturday 31st and be within time to experience the energy of the City.
All of the decorations will be in place and we will spend Sunday showing you around the city and giving you a taste of Muertos before it ends.
This week will be a combination of our Classic week with some very special Muertos extras. See the itinerary for more information.
We are able to host 4 families during this very special week.

SE Asia 2025
Join SoMos in SE Asia for a TravAlign experience. This year we are headed to 3 different destinations for three very different experiences.
SoMos is Co Hosting an Island Hopping Retreat in Thailand with Candy and the Kings for 12 incredible days.
We only have room for one more family. Children must be 5+ to join us.
We will be heading to Luang Prabang, Laos to explore the Mekong, spend time with elephants, enjoy a cooking class, a waterfall and so much more. We have 3 spots left on this one.
We will lastly be spending the Holidays in Vietnam. Starting in Hanoi - we will finish in Hoi An and ring in the new year together. You’ll experience a water puppet show, see train street, make incense, enjoy a food tour, ancient ruins and a lot more. These are trips for a lifetime worth of memories! We have room for 2 more families on this trip.
